Just to clarify if your comment was in response to mine.
What I'm speaking of is what I feel makes for GREAT Street Photography (as I understand it)and not what simply meets the definition. Shooting a little higher I think it's not about the elements themselves but how they bond or interact. That's a big part IMO.
I understand that things twist, turn and change over time. Rock and Roll is Rock and Roll, even though it sound entirely different today than it did back in 1957. I do think that the essence of what Great Street Guys were trying to accomplish has been somewhat lost today. Just an opinion.

You've essentially asked a religous/philosophical question here that can be debated ad infinitum :P
"Street" isn't just street... it's Street with a capital S.
Rangefinder, sly, moment, quiet, unnoticed.

I think it was more a rhetorical question scoffing the debate itself... |

Hello, I;m very new to this site, just signed up today, but it looks like a very good opportunity to get feedback from fellow photographers.
I wanted to print this photo (street shot), but wasn't sure what other post processing in photoshop could still be done to it. Any help whatsoever would be great. I know this isn't the critics section but since everyone is here to talk about street shots, I thought I would post.
Thanks for the advice in advance.
not even sure if I linked this to thumbnail right or not.. I'l learn.

Welcome Mark! You linked the image fine and IMHO yes it meets the challenge very well. But that is just me. Have fun read the rules and shoot, shoot and shoot some more!

Thanks for the feedback grandwazoo. I would want to print this soon, but am not sure about contrast/other variables... etc. If you have any suggestions that would be killer.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.
