| I am going out on limb right now so people won't be calling me a fair weather fan, and say that the currently hottest team in baseball, my beloved Mariners, will be the Cinderella story in this years World Series! |

As much as I love the M's and remember the good old days of screaming at Edgar at the top of my lungs in '95 at 1:30 in the morning in Albany, NY during game 5, I don't think they are going to hold up. They are playing above their game currently.
Here's to hoping though.
One possibility is that Weaver is back on steroids and is sharing them around the clubhouse. We might go somewhere then. Think 2001 when I bet half the team was loaded and Brett Boone was the supplier.

| I will have to disagree and say that there are about four other teams in the american league that have considerable more depth than the M's. On the other hand the best team does not always win, look at my beloved Cardinals last year, they had no business even being in the playoff and got hot at the right time, so there is always a chance. My pic for the Al winner is the Tigers but if there is going to be a Dark horse I'm rolling with the Indians, just my opinion. Since the Cardinals will probably not be in and I praying the Cubs will not( I dont have to pray to hard as God hates the Cubs as well...lol) I hope you get your wish! |
