This is really a unique looking flower and I am surprised you didn't score better with the crowd. I think this is great. the only thing I would have done to make better, and please don't think I am trying to say I am na expert, but I would have isolated the main flower form the others so you didn't have the pther petals as distractors. Still a nice photo and one to be proud of. If you get a chance to shoot it again try it with less distractors and see if you like it better. Well done!
