People tend to have non-discriptive subject lines. Such as:

"My AF Sucks"
"What's the best lens"

and several others. It would help the reader to know what camera the writer uses. That way people who know that camera systems can jump in. Conversely, those not familure with that camera system can ignore.

That, or force the creator to use more discriptive subject lines:

"My AF Sucks (on my Canon)"
"What's the best lens for my Nikon?"

The camera is always listed under the user name in the forum. Plus, you can always click on the user name to get the list of equipment they have in their profile.

The user of my AF sucks doesnt have the Lens on his list that he speaks of, and many idiots run around with a point and shoot not their slr listed as primary or a camera they dont have.... Mattel Barbie, Best Buy 1 click. Which well would auto list in Nillix's idea anyways.

its not a huge problem but u do get alot of help threads and the ttle doesnt say canon or nikon or pentax or fuji or whatever.

Yes, but you have to click into the thread to see the camera. I'm talking about when the threads are listed together. Not only showing the writers name (listed in the "Creator" column), but also their camera.

Usually if I read it once and find that to be a problem I use this feature:

Now this would be useful if it was on the listing of topics. Perhaps a little checkbox next to the title so you don't have to open the thread at all.

I really think this is needed.

I don't know anything about Nikon. With a subject like macro lenses, I open up the thread and find that the user is asking about Nikon.

I would be nice to see in the thread listing, the user's main camera.

I have to give you credit Tom, for the most patient "bump" I've seen yet. :-D

I see what you're saying...personally I don't have a need for it. I'll usually just take a quick look and move on if needed.

Since you've mentioned the 'Community' page, I've mentioned before how it would be useful to have most of those columns sortable.

Anyway, good luck in your pursuit of this. :-)

Darn.

Here's another Lens advice needed here.........

I open up the thread in the hopes of adding my insight only to find, they're asking about a Nikon kit.

Darn, nothing I can add.
