HERE ARE ALL THE INTERESTING SHOTS I took while trying to get "just that shot" for this challenge.
I am lucky to work in a very urban part of a large city where so much is happening all the time. In a lot of ways seeing all the poverty and contrasts really puts things into 'perspective'.
Thanks for letting me share ...

Very good photos, Mag. You are very creative when it comes to titling your photos. My favorites are the man with the blazor tucked in and Jesus going to MCdonalds. Very funny. I really like them all. |

Magnetic, It not only looks like you have an abundant supply of subject matter, but also the brain matter to see it. Great pics and sense of humor! Autool |

you really need a time stop function on your camera to freeze reality .. i cant afford that camera myself ;)
dunno if you have this option, but i do is i switch to a higher iso setting. even in my cam's highest iso it's a bit dodgy in situations like that, but i can occasionally luck out, plus it's the only choice i have : ) .. it's grainier but it's the tradeoff between sharp focus and grain.

Paddington2 is really interesting. The motion blur is not a problem, good even. What it probably needed was a tripod / steady platform to prevent the little bit of camerashake that is visible. I guess it wasn't on a tripod?
Concerning Paddington1. All people are in motion there. The greatest effect you can achieve, in my opinion, is that kind of people in motion with one or a few persons frozen at an interesting point in the picture. |

Kris Kringle is one of his many aliases... He goes by "Saint Nick", "Santa Baby" and "Mr. Claus" among others... He must be up to something to need so many names...

Kris Kringle B&W is really good. Like the surprise on the face of the woman from "local photographer selected for prize". "Man accused of tilting floor by sitting on one side" gave me a good laugh. :-)
