can somone point me to a site or a book that discusses the benefits of shooting in RAW mode and how best to tweak the photos taken that way?

I've been trying to shoot at least some of my images in RAW lately, but other than adjusting the white balance (which I am pretty good about doing in-camera anyway), I really am not getting the full impact I'm sure.

any help?

//www.outbackphoto.com/
and
//www.fredmiranda.com/

all have many articles about RAW processing and workflows.

here's a thread from a week ago or so on the same thing - worth the read...there are some good points in there.

Post what you learn...I'm interested to learn more too.
