Sher, you amaze me.
You are just the most awesome friend anyone could hope to have. I think we should all head on over to Fat Mama̢۪s for some crawdads and suds.
I don’t ever make a big deal of my birthdayâ€Â¦.. In fact, my mom called me just after noon today to wish me wellâ€Â¦. That’s the only reason I even knew it was my birthday today. I would have just passed it up.
Soâ€Â¦ This DPC party is the biggest and most thoughtful event of my day.
Heck, look at this partyâ€Â¦ we have songs, flickering signs, cheer leaders, singers and song writers even a couple of old dancing men and a gypsy.
But most of all, some pretty cool friends are here. Thanks you guysâ€Â¦. Contests are fun but it’s all of you guys that really make DPC such a great place. I’m glad to have met every one of you here.
Thanks for the good wishes today. (John Todd that is the most incredible compliment I̢۪ve ever had, sincerely, thank you for that).

A day late and a dollar short. Hope your day was great. And so was mine. Had my half century party yesterday, and had some really good laughs, good times, good food. I will totally admire your work forever, and hope you don't leave us. It is inspiring and gets the juices flowing.

There once was an old man named Gringo
Who, on his birthday, sadly sat to play bingo
Although still quite handsome and dapper
Had to trade his camera in for the clapper
And add AARP to the top of his lingo.
Happy Birthday to you, Gringo, who will be forever young in our hearts!!!
