Sequence shot of a girl on the side lines of a Lacrosse game.

I had no time to set up for the shot. She was much too close to me (I had the Canon 100-400mm lens on the MkIII) which is part of the reason I lost part of her in the framing. And she only did it twice. I saw the first one. Tried to quickly get ready for the second one. And then she was gone (her mommy took her to another game and I never saw her again).

Would the sequence look better in reverse so that she's running in "right" direction?

That's really cool! Nothing like being in the right place at the right time, huh? :)

I *love* this particular shot out of the sequence because, even from the side, I can just see the "smile" on her face. And I wish I could do something like this... it must almost feel like flying! And I just know that if I could fly I would have that same grin on my face!

Much better! Looks more like a natural progression like this :-)

Dude, that is totally brilliant. Camera jealousy aside too.. zeeps! if only you could have gotten a business card to her or something. You could have reshot later... Maybe take a couple of shots to the next game and see if anyone knows her.

PS. I like the reversed order too... If you really wanted to keep the progression, you could also mirror image all the pics and have it from the opposite direction... might look neat stitched too...

I used to love shooting Soccer for this reason. The players of Soccer and Lacross are always so athletic.

this proves why the 10 fps could be needed. you can get alot more shots like this.

BTW can you put them in a .gif?

Only if you flip all the photos...lol Might be interesting to see her do everything backwards.

I think you need to quit showing off and buy a video camera. ;)

Interesting idea!

The thumbnail is small, but if you click on it, you'll be downloading 1.3M so give it a few minutes if you're on a slow connection.
