No, gotta go with sucks myself....

Things that I think suck:

Oranges
Avacado
Tea
Nikon
Boxing
Ice Skating
Wrestling
Paris Hilton
the list goes on...

I'm sure there are people here who disagree with some or all of my list items and their suck factor. I'm also sure that someone can tell me exactly why something on this list doesn't suck (maybe with the exception of Paris Hilton).

I took a look at every image that I could find on Leonard Nimoy's website. There were some that I didn't care for, but I think every image on that site has it's own merit, especially as artistic endeavors.

I'm wasting my time... sorry for the intrusion :)

I shouldn't go there but I will, lol. Thats fine, everyone has different taste, but for me he is playing off of his fame to sell photos, maybe I am wrong but thats how I see it. Tell me those shots would do well in challenges on DPC...Not that doing well in challenges is the be all end all of validation but still, it is an indicator of quality, you must admit most of his shots would be shot dowbn in flames...

It's not worth debating.

honestly art is never worth debating, but to me i don't see much in his stuff. I don't think photos need to be challenge worthy as in "stock" type shots. I can get into shots with emotion and such. To me is see his stuff as more abstract which i don't care for . just like i think that people that splatter paint on a canvas and call it art are dumb. I agree that he is banking on his fame.

Oh please! Ansel Adams wouldn't do well in a lot of our challenges.

Sorry, but doing well in challenges here is *not* an indicator of quality in and of itself.

It is for a large number of people on DPC. If a person's photography world doesn't go beyond here, that, in fact, is the only indicator of quality.

Looks good to me. Also looks like he's taking photographs because he loves to do it. After all he already has money and fame. Why else would he do it? There's no reason to be jealous of another artist's success.

Must be nice. At least his photography is bit better than Shatner's acting :-)

I wasn't sure at first if you meant Shatner, or Nemoy

apparently, Shatner has the advantage of an easier name to spell correctly...
