		| | Makes my kit lens feel like a flimsy piece of crap. Wow.
That is one nice piece of glass. Thanks, Gramama.

		| | yes indeed. that is a seriously nice piece of work. Worth every penny... and less than other brands of 50mm f/1.4 too. |

		| | ..agreed.
Add a tele-macroconverter to it and you have a 100mm f2.8 macro lens without the need to spend lots more ;)

		| | Would this be the old style lens that doesn't "talk" to modern digital cameras?? I have the f1.7 version and am wondering if it is legal for challenges...Fantastic lens BTW...gotta love the shallow DOF...

		| | Nope, brand new fully automatic! Pretty hot.
But any lens should be legal as long as it's on a digital camera - I don't think the SC cares if aperature data is recorded in EXIF...

I was taking pics last night outside by the light of a string of xmas lights ;)

I've used my M 50 1.7 for challenges several times... I don't see why it would be illegal.

And evan, congrats on the pickup! I hope we see it used in a challenge soon...

		| | I was thinking of picking up the DA 50mm 1.4 and the 2x Tele-converter. Does anyone know where I can get the Pentax 2x Converter? Or, can I get another brand that will work just as good?
