I put my dirty fingers on the lens filter to my 12-24. I'm not sure what the best ways is in cleaning it. Is there something special I should pick up from the shop, or is a little soap and warm water enough?

You can buy lens cleaning fluid (similar to, or the same(?) as the fluid used to clean specs)... or simply use a lens cleaning cloth.

I use tap water and a piece of kitchen towel, just as I do for my glasses!
