So Spock has become a photographer. Saw an article in Time or something about his latest series. I think he needs more self-portraits. hehe

Yeah, I saw this mentioned somewhere else a while back.

It's a good thing he is famous :-) Sorry, but he wouldn't get far on his photography skills alone.

I did see the series of large women shots a while back. I actually kinda liked them, not because of his skills, but because of how comfortable the women were in their skin.

I think he's an ok photog... but he probably wouldn't be famous on that alone, no.

It was actually because of that shoot that I recommended him as a guest artist (for next year, maybe) for a local event called Fat Girl Speaks that I attended (and my wife designed clothing for and modeled in) a couple weeks ago.

I saw him at Starfest, here in Denver, and he talked about his photography. He told the story of how he and Tom Hanks were in a parking lot somewhere and a fan came up all excited to see Tom Hanks, and asked to get a picture with him. The fan noticed Leonard Nimoy and knew he was a photographer and asked him to take the picture. So, as Leonard Nimoy put it, "somewhere out there, a fan has a picture of himself with Tom Hanks, taken by Leonard Nimoy."

I think I'd be comfortable in my skin if a major celeb like Nimoy or Angelina Jolie said, "I'm doing a project. I want you to pose nude for me." Um, Ok sure.

Umm. I'd be much more comfortable if Jolie was doing the posing or at least that's what I would tell her.

Hmmm... Grainy, awkward, and heck - I can't even tell what it is. Sorry Lenny - 3!

=D

Edit: LOL: Thought his self portrait could use a little sprucing, did he? //www.leonardnimoyphotography.com/images/2/selfp/Zz163A-8.JPG (warning - blurred nudity)

I like that one myself. I think he needs more like that. Maybe one with his head turned in the direction of the model with the same expression. Variety of different model with same expression. That'd be a great project. lol

Check out his nudes with super obese women, it's eye popping. Different for sure.

It was really the only project I found interesting. At least it had a purpose.

I believe that is part of the cloud city in episode 319. Or ET under a blanket.? Could go either way.

Honestly I think most of his stuff sucks. although i am sure that are many here that would call it artistic.

Looks like a hooded figure holding something in his hands. I like it. Of course I'd also enter something similiar and grouse about the 5.3 it would get...

I think a lot of that work is pretty impressive. He's definitely on a track that most folks around here tend to avoid or ignore...

It isn't bad. It is just the way that he views the world. Nothing wrong with that. It just doesn't meet challenge form most of the folks around here that is all.

Imagine being able to leverage your fame that way. You can sell your photos from huge money just because you are from vulcan. Imagine if that guy that played Data became a photographer. He could take a picture of a turd and sell it for $10,000.
