I nominate Jutilda for this entry in Why. My question for her was: "Why did she enter it in that challenge?" Her response was she wanted the viewer to say "Huh?". She succeeded.

Judi, for commenting 100% on at least TWO very large challenges that I know of so far, and for encouraging others to attempt to do the same, or at least spend more time commenting. Full challenge comments really makes a voter take the time to look at each image. Even if folks don't complete the attempt, they may be learning to really look at challenge entries for more than a half a second.

During some fit of insanity I volunteered to helm OOBIE and YAPPIE nominations for a while, and posthumous told me I could change the rules if I like. Now drunk with power, I make the following proclamation:

Nominations for this round end NOW. Normally nominations close for voting at midnight every Saturday, but we haven't moved anything forward for voting for several weeks and there's a hefty backlog at this point - so I'm changing the "rule" this time - we'll go back to our regular schedule next round.

Current voting round will include all nominations posted between May 28-June 20. Winners will be announced Wednesday or Thursday of next week.

Next voting round will include nominations posted between June 21-30, and then we'll get back to our normal week-long schedule after that.

Now don't all try to dethrone me at once. :)

And since we seem to be a bit behind, we may want to vote a couple of each to cover the time periods we kinda missed. I shall bow to the decision of the Queen.

Yes long live the Queen! - I fell in love with a Prince, warts and all, and ran away.

Quite agree, and was in fact suggested by posthumous; was going to go with a double award, but with the number of OOBIE noms, maybe there should be a trio of awards for each...

We have heard our advisors and We will apprise you of Our decision forthwith. No need to kiss my ring or anything, I don't wear any. ;)

Post your nominations for OOBIEs and YAPPIEs here! Here's the scoop:

"In this thread are nominations for two distinguished awards given out by the Suck League.

An OOBIE sucker is awarded to an "Out Of the Box" entry in a DPChallenge, something that meets the challenge in a creative fashion that DPC voters might not have properly appreciated.

A YAPPIE sucker is given to a commentor for either a particular comment or a history of great comments.

If you have ideas for someone who should get an OOBIE or a YAPPIE, please post your suggestions in this thread. It's helpful to have a blurb or even a poem about why you are making the nomination. "
