OK so its been a few days since i was able to post any shots.
I had a death in the family and needed to go out of town.
I did however take my camera with me and was able to get a few shots while out there.
so I'm going to cheat a little and post some of them in order to catch up.
but these are ordinary everyday sights in Bay de verde Newfoundland

Day 11 Santa in June
 
One of my current projects (I was determined to finish the stockings for all in the house before I returned to work--I'm destined to fail!). I'm working on one quilted Christmas stocking for each person. This is for Tom, my husband, he is the peaceful star of our house. Peace Santa is for him.

Day 12 Bob Marley
Our oldest son, TJ, has this true love for all things Bob Marley. One of my longest term projects is making him a quilted wall hanging of Mr. Marley. When I think of Marley I think of dreadlocks. I'm so proud that I came up with a way of creating dreadlocks (from fabric)--and that's what you're seeing here (in macro).
My proudest moment on this subject is when I took the dreadlocks to work and several people wouldn't touch the dreadlock section because they thought it really was human hair!!!

Sorry, it's a busy few days and I haven't had a chance to contribute. The thumbnails since I was last here look great, and I will get back very soon to open them. Tonight and tomorrow night are busy also, but I'll try to start catching up. Starting with day 10, Avian Home Improvement.
