6 x 11 wacom tablet... I've been drooling over any tablet, even the tiny one for the last year or so...
Today, the mail lady drops off a box and I immediately see my husbands name on it & think, "now what the heck did he buy himself".. lol..
I huff & puff and take it into the house and open it up thinking, how dare he buy something & not tell me, only to find, it was a surprise for me.. :-)..
So, everyone fill me in.. I'm curious to know what other owners think about this tool and how does everyone use theirs.. Is it uber helpfull and easier to use when making selections?? Will I think someday how did I ever make a selection with my clunky mouse??? Do you find it easier when using dodbe/burn... I'm so excited I can't wait to get it hooked up.. Now I have to go clean all the crap off of my desk to make room for this beast.. It's huge.. lol.. |

| I have a 4X6 Wacom Graphire and I love it. I use it a fair bit but can't justify buying huge one right now. I would rather buy some new glass... Enjoy your new toy! |

It's a horrible, horrible thing.
You should get rid of it as quickly as possible.
I can help you by taking it off of your hands, I'll send you a PM with my mailing address. Consider sending it overnight, that'll make you feel just that much better. |

Well, maybe my experience is unique, but I found it actually took a bit of time to get comfortable with what I thought would be a very easy thing to use (it's just electronic pen and paper right?).
However after a couple days of getting used to it, it is certainly worth the money and makes detailed editing a lot easier. |

| I have the 9x12, use it to do everything in PS, and sometimes in other programs as well. I'm so used to the pen that a mouse feels weird in my hand! You'll love it, congratulations! |

| I still use the mouse for everything besides photo editing, but for making fine selections, painting, and dodging/burning, there's nothing else like it. |

I know.. I'm a lucky girl.. This is a strange thing to get use to.. I'm going to go through the tutorials on the wacom website.. Anyone have any advice on how to get use to this or is it one of those things that come in time.. At least I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the week.. :-) |

congratulations! What a great guy.
I have a small tablet that I used to use quite often and loved it but I don't see a lot of use for it right now. I would much rather have this one. That would be totally cool but at that cost...ummmm NO! lol
Enjoy your new toy and don't forget to show him how thankful you are..wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more. :) |

| Try playing computer games with it till your brain get the hang of it. Repetative boring fast games are best. |
