first off, these are NOT my images, I got the link in an email and thought it was cool, especially the last image.

birth of hummingbirds

I was raised in Colorado and miss seeing these guys buzz around, pretty cool seeing this part of their life.

Make sure you look at the very last picture. It shows the size of the tiny nest,

yeah that was pretty cool, I always knew they were tiny but the images don't show the scale very well until the penny picture.

Along the same lines, taken while visiting my sister in LaQuinta (near Palm Springs)last month.... Being from the southern tip of Africa,and not having seen humming birds before, I was amazed at how small and dainty they are.
