Unbelievable....

Essentially, it combines hundreds and thousands of photos of a place into a single scene. Stitching them together. Zoom out, zoom in, scroll around. As you do so it quickly pulls photos that are related. Zoom in to see more detail and you're provided a close-up shot.
MIND-BLOWING!!!
Essentially, this technology when combined with something like google maps 3D modelling could essentially create a virtual view of an entire city.

I love how the WEBSITE ONLY runs on Vista or XP. hahahah.
I have a program on the puter for about 4 months that uses all the photos in a folder to create a composite photo, then as you keep zooming in, you see more and more detail of each picture as you zoom. Continues to infinity as you zoom in on each pic. FUN. But lots of processor work!
Yeah and that s my Mac. :)
