Amazing software from Microsoft that's both like a panorama stitcher and nothing like a panorama stitcher. Makes multiple pictures into a 3d environment. Hard to explain, watch the demo.

I wonder if it will work on my 2GHz machine w/512Meg of RAM. It takes me about 30 seconds to load a RAW file.

Wow, how on earth does that work? Does it track the camera's location (will it need GPS camera?) or is the 3D model required first? Baffling stuff :)

After some research, it seems to be based on work done at University of Washington.
It looks for patterns in pictures, their "DNA", and aligns them like any other panorama software.

My colleagues brother is working on this project. I will share information as I get it from him. Hoping to get access to an Alpha or Beta build...
