Confessions from a "VUI voter" - DPChallenge Forums

Now, I'm not a heavy drinker; but once in a while I have a few too many glasses of Cabernet. In my younger days I'd go out to bars and flirt or make fun of people. As I've mellowed I find myself on the internet instead.

I must confess that there have a been a couple of times that I have voted on challenges while under the influence. It's possible that I might have failed a field sobriety test, yet I still managed to vote on quite a few images. I know this because I've reviewed some of the scores I've given; and have asked myself "What the h&** was I thinking?!".

Most of the time I gave higher scores to images that looked great with the wine goggles on, but not so hot the next morning. Occassionally I have been a little harsh on undeserving shots. For the most part, I have changed my votes before the deadline, but I'm sure a few have slipped through.

Although I feel a little bad about this, I can't promise I won't do it again. I can't help it, I just love wine;^)

I've voted while under the influence of, umm..., well under the influence. I think all it did was make me want to stop voting so I could go search out something to eat...like ice cream!

I am ashamed and saddened by this..............................

because, I thought I was the only one that did this....LOL
but never with wine....has to be a drink I call a silly MF....vodka, tangerine gatorade and a splash of ginger ale...yall really must try it....; )

I'm all about unwarranted consequences! And, I've been known to do this as well. What's worse than VUI, though? SUI! (Submitting Under the Influence) I have submitted several 8.0000+ shots this way. Most of them ended up well under 6.0000. :) (I blame the non-VUI's for this, however!)

Don't do it unless prepared to suffer unwarrented consequences.

That's the reason I always get dates without any pits.

I have posted the wrong picture a few times when I was drinking. That sucks when you read a comment and then look at the picture And see it is the one you saved before you fixed it......
