When I save my photograph for Web in PS, the resulting image is at least a shade darker than my original. I never really noticed it before but I do now because I am on this site and some of my photo's are too dark. Does anyone else have this happen to them and, if so, how do you resolve it? Thanks! |

The thing that I find with saving for the web, is that if you are not using the correct colour profile, things will look when it is converted to save for the web.
what I now do is just prior to saving for the web, convert to the colour space that I'm going to be using (sRGB) and then save for web. Then I don't have any problems.
Alternatively you can make sure you always convert to the sRGB working profile when you load the image into Photoshop.
See this page for tips on photoshop color management, or the Photoshop manual. |
