Day 29 -  &  Origional colored version
Well, we are nearly at the end of the 30 Day, and what a blast I have had. For the last two days, I decided to pick two of my favories DPC prints, and change them into black and white versions.....
This is one of the results, and I like the depth of tone and textures with this one.....
I also like to say a big "thank you", for all the wonderful comments you have given me.
I am always learning and always appriciate comments. Thanks heaps..... |

These are the two that pushed me, with the boundries, re textures and tonal range the most.
I love to know if I achived it, or maybe went to far, with my processing.....
I have learned so much about "Black & White" photography, especially converting them from my origional colored versions. I found "Gradient Map" gave me the best results for sure, re depth and contrast of tonal range and also textures.
This was my goal, so thanks everyone, for helping me to push the boundries, and to achieve these rsults.

I know some people don't like high key shots, but it seemed to fit this pic....no color; just toning....day whatever...lol I'm so far behind now it's not funny....
This is my nephew Trent and his girlfriend Danielle....taken at a cookout this past Sunday.

two just in case i cant put anything in tomorrow ... which is day 30 and the last day .. this has been the best learning experience ... thankyou everyone for your excellent comments ... i'll try and make some more comments tomorrow ...
