Is there an automated way to change a series of pics into layers in one file? I have PhotoShop Elements. Without dragging them into one, one at a time.

That is the only way i know of of doing it in Photoshop CS2... but i would be interested in finding out how to do it any other way.
One thing which might cut down your time taken in this is to use the ctrl button when clicking on the images you want to open, select multiple images before hitting open and they all get opened at the same time (albeit in seperate windows) but it does help (if you have the memory). |

Yeah I had to combine all the photos one by one into the same place as layers and then save for web and check animate and loop.

That's really cool! Can I do that with CS2, do you think? I have shots of my tennis team I'd love to animate like that.

I'm not sure? I'll bet you could. Check if you have a save for web option under file.

I've never noticed the option in CS2 before using your way but when I do animations in CS2 after I have my layers set I click the switch to ImageReady in the toolbar and complete the animation in there.

I do have Save for Web (that's usually how I do my challenge entries) but I don't see Animate/Loop? Do I need to have the two shots already all together before I see that option, do you think?

Hey! I have ImageReady. :) Let me explore. I see the chapter in Help I need to read to learn more.
Thanks for the tips!

Well....yes I think so. Otherwise it will only see one layer and default to just saving it as a picture. Maybe? Not sure? But yes you have to have the picture be layers in the same file or window. I dragged and dropped 64 of mine into one!
