Instead of pointing out what I don't like such as a rant, I am going to point out what I do like and I'll call it a rave.

I love the layout of the web pages at DPC. Nice color choice.

Haha..Ok I'll play. I like the opportunity average photographers have to learn from others.

I like the fact that there are folks on here that can see the humor in some shots & actually laugh about it. Most people thought this shot of mine was kind of funny:

You know people often complain about harsh voters and /or harsh commentors but I really believe that if I had started on eyfetch.com where a low vote is 6 I would not have been pushed to get better. I love competing against some of the best people in the world. I sometimes actually beat people that do this for a living and that makes me feel good.

Without this site, I wouldn't have graduated neutral density filters.

Seriously! Besides grad ND's, there have been many, many other of my purchases and processes that have influenced by what I have come across in these threads, comments, and photographer's comments on DPChallenge.

I, very often, tell people who have never heard of DPChallenge that I have learned more on this site than I could ever have learned in any college course in photography.

There are so many products and methods of handling what comes out of our cameras. I wouldn't have been exposed to one quarter of it by myself or by reading photo magazines and books.

This, along with the competitive drive to improve my photos, is what has helped me to discard 98% of the photos that I thought were good before I found this site.

Yeah, I like DPC.
