I'm looking for anyone who has experience with any of the following papers:

Inkjetart Micro Ceramic Luster
Pictorico Photo Gallery Hi-Gloss White Film
Legion Photo Silk or Gloss or Matte
Various Hahnemühle papers (others listed here)
Arches Infinity papers
Red River papers
Tetenal Photo Glossy or Semi Matt
Folex papers

Any personal experience anyone has with these papers, I'd like to hear about. I'm particularly interested in people who have tried any of these papers on Canon printers (like the s8xx/s9xx[x] and their ilk). If you have high quality scans of such prints, I'd love to see them.

Something that might be worth trying is buying a 'variety sampler' pack from these people //www.inkjetart.com/photo_papers/index.html

They also have another couple of sampler packs for their art papers //www.inkjetart.com/art_papers.html

Don't know if that is helpful, but it would at least let you get some experience yourself with different papers/ finishes/ effects.

Thanks, but I've already sampled quite a number of papers, most of which are readily available. The papers I listed are a little more esoteric (with the exception of Legion and Red River I suppose). Also, the inkjetart variety pack contains only 1 paper type in which I'm actually interested.

I did pick up a couple of Legion sample packs, so I'll have to dig up my test prints again (or redo them on the remaining sheets). Unfortunately, the Legion Silk isn't in the pack and I'd like to know how it fares with other papers.

For me, quite a few (most) of the papers are pretty much impossible to find locally. I was hoping to find a lurker out here in dpc land who has already played with these papers. For the number of sheets I need for testing, the shipping is comparatively high.

As for art papers, I have a related project which involves them, but I'll wait until I see the results from the Legion stuff (readily available) before I consider looking at anything else (hard to find).

thanks.
