I checked this morning and had 4 comments, mostly positive including someone that said they gave me a 7, but with a common technical issue noted. But my vote can't even maintain a 4.0 yet. :-(

Glad it's not just me. I'm barely holding a 6 and I saw a healthy 6.4 along the way with a decent number of votes in. Maybe those are all indeed place holder 6's and we'll see a big jump in a couple days.

Just check again...

4.7 something...I didn't even want to look.

Kind of a let down after a decent showing in my first challenge. Looks like I may be circling the drain with this one. M'eh....it was rushed and certainly not by best work. I knew that at the outset. But I was hoping for the best.

Its pretty much there at 5.2 range now and I dont see much change to that..but I got it favorited once..Cool

I've had much higher scoring entries and that one while not looking like a personal worst will definately drag my average score down, I don't care.

I knew the photo wasn't brilliant when I submitted it but I put it into the challenge anyway because first of all, it's fun to have a button to press refresh on, and secondly while the photo fails in a few areas the one area I was really working hard on which relates directly to the challenge I think it succeeded quite well so I'm not ashamed of the photo either.

I would have reshot it if I could but I thought I had already missed the challenge deadline when I shot it so I was just working on that one thing. Then it was too late when I realised I hadn't missed the deadline after all. Oops

Guess what ... I got another Fav :)
I was almost not entering this challenge and did not have any hopes on getting a high score with this image as it is not a DPC type image at all.And it's not scoring good either, but the comments I got are really great(not to mention 2 favs) and I am very happy that I entered this one.

I am pleased with my scores in this one. They are greatly improved over my last entries. Thanks for all the positive comments too. I think it is the first time I have received positive remarks.

There's ALWAYS hope! The best way to learn, from one newbie to another, is to keep shooting. And remember all the not-so-positive comments when you're preparing for your next entry.
