| I want create an avi file from a slide show with some my photos. do you know some software(freeware please) with this feature? |

Check Proshow Producer-- theres a free trial-- Probably will a watermark though--
I dont know of any freeware that will do it, but I havent googled it either

| Windows Movie Maker allows you to add music. It comes free with Windows. |

Just to back this up. I do lots of these for clients and they seem to like them.
Easy to add music, although i usualy put the music down first and then match the photos to the music. You can also add effects to the pictures like small zoom in or out which adds interest.
Also very easy to shorten or lengthen the amount of time an image is displayed for.
