Hi all,

My 6 year old son Christopher took part in an open "pirate kid" audition for Albertsons grocery store. He did it just for fun because he loves pirates, but was just chosen as a finalist out of hundreds of kids at 4 stores from Las Vegas to San Diego! So he's now up against 19 other little pirates and has a chance to be on a commercial and receive $10,000. He's VERY excited!

They put all the kid's audition videos up on a website, and although there's no actual voting on the videos, the judges will look at the number of "hits" (views) the video gets and take that into consideration in the final selection process. They actually told me to have friends and family view his video to gain hits, so it's not like "vote skewing," and I thought I'd share this with my friends here at DPC. I wouldn't ever ask you to not view the other kid's videos, but they will get points as well if you do. ;-)

He's under the "Tujunga Albertsons" section and has a red/white polka
dot bandana on his head and his name is Christopher.

Actually, I got it to work on Explorer, but not on Firefox.

Ya, they put them in random order to be fair I guess. Even the different stores get moved around. Thanks for viewing!
