The idea was to have the triangle that is on all nikon dslr and the official d50 characters.. So everyone are free to execute the idea at will..

I made the trading cards but I can easily add the new logo. I will need pics from the new members to finish them up. I think we all used SP's before. If anyone wants to change their photo, lemme know and I will fix em all up.

That's just fine, karinn. :o) I will have to crop it to 4 x 6 if that's ok, but other than that its perfect!

I like the first one aerogurl best... Like I said, i would like the red nikon triangle to be in the logo... :)

i like the first one from aerogurl, but i also like the one from karinn.

i have a question for you karinn regarding your portrait, what is the lighting scheme you used, meaning the lighting you used and the setup?

and thanks everyone for contributing. i think this season we are going to make a difference:)

That's a very good question.. it's like 9 months ago or something I took this photo.

But it is most likely very simple like just a bounce from the ceiling from the sb-800 flash. But I'm not 100% sure.

Ok.. that's fine... but do you need it in some other size ?
05/09/2007 02:33:26 PM · #696
Okies kids...I have a question...Lil off topic. :oP

I have a band who is wanting me to shoot at one of their shows. Now then...That said, I have never taken live band shots and I haven't yet commited...I know I'd need to use a high ISO, but I'm wondering if any of you have shot such events, and if so, what kind of settings you used? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :o)

Here is one of my live music shots.. and all the details..
I strongly recommend that you don't use iso 1600 because the noise is so much there... but on the other hand you could always convert the images to BW and let the noise have the main role.
05/09/2007 03:05:33 PM · #698
Wow! That is phenomenal! No fill flash or anything??
05/09/2007 03:09:29 PM · #699
So my suggestion would be mode S (shutter priority) set on 1/100 - 1/200, iso 800 or 400 if the lights are good... just have to try it both when you are there.

P.S. that is if you are not permitted to use flash. :) f/2.8 lens should be enough.

Nobe.. no flash!! :)
