Hiya,

Apparently there's a man with a gun roaming around my corporate campus, I just figured I'd post. I'd say the name of the company, but I'm not supposed to. It's been on the news now so I figure I can at least post this since the cats sort of out of the bag.

Wheeee!!!! :|

Yeah, I'll just sit here in the middle away from the windows. The door on this floor is keypad access anyways, so if it is who I think it is, he'll have to blow through it somehow. I know where the other door is.

yeah....

How did you find out? Just word of mouth? Is there some kind of official announcement on this unnamed corporate website for you?

Right now just on the inconvenient side, there's a few hungry people about who didn't get dinner before it happened. One girl got luck and was out to luch with her boyfriend just before, and got to go home for free.

So I guess it depends on your perspective, that being inside the grounds and being stuck in our buildings, or getting the night off for once and you probably don't even have to use your vacation for it too.

Maybe I'll just pretend it's not happening and go order something from Amazon, I kinda wish a server would crash so I would have something to do instead....

Oh my GOD!! I just got word that it was just someone from the campus Gym going back to their desk to get something with a super-suspicious duffel bag.

We've had a few firings lately of some people that said things which made management decide to put security on alert. I guess some twirp with a rent-a-badge freaked out for no reason, because bags of that type are obviously only meant to carry semi-automatic weapons. sheesh.

False alarm, yay!!

I truly do have a problem with this portion of your comments.

What if something sinister had indeed transpired... would you still maintain that the actions of this individual were those of a "twirp".

I am very glad you are OK, but I did find that part of your comment a bit gratuitous.

Lawl..
But the guy did in fact make people scared and get everyone wound up for nothing, if you think of it.
People panic and freak out
not to mention if there were alot of people,
the dangers of getting trampled to death in a panic state.

Eh.
I'll shut up.

And what if it was real, a real gun or a real bomb and "some twirp with a rent-a-badge" didn't do a thing.

I'll shut up...
