thinking that same way public believed megahertz are the ultimate measure of a computer, they also think pixel count is the measure of a digicam.
in that perspective, 4mp is too few and is gonna limit their sales prospects.

It's a nikkon so image quality will be fine, but 4 megapixel is not enough if you want to print posters.

Its a sports camera spec. You can easily go beyond 11x14 or so with 4Mp on a cheapo camera, so 16x20 type enlargements should be trivial. How big exactly do you want your posters to be ? |

They'll only make a huge impact if the dynamic range of the CCD is bigger than what the Canon 1D offers, particularly the ability to retain highlights.
July 22 is the rumor release date.
(oh, hopefully the ISO 125 isn't an "interpreted" ISO (similar to Canon 1D ISO 100), as that tends to flatten the images)

30x45cm is the minimum size for a poster I think.
