I'm pleased that for my first challenge two folks have called my shot a "favorite."

Mines no eye candy, but did meet the challenge, I guess if more voters understood rules of third, my score would have been I think a bit better.
A third of the picture, a plus if its a power point. But I know I got many 4's and them I got many higher scores...is so many confused here I think. |

It occurs to me while voting that the rule of thirds challenge is very much like a free study challenge. Once a photographer meets the basic requirement of having some identifiable point of interest near one of the grid intersections (or grid lines, as averred above), the rest is up for grabs.
Changing the subject, sudhi said he had gotten a 3 and no comment. FYI, I quit leaving comments explaining low votes because they led to defensive or abusive emails from the photographers!

Yup. I got hate mail from two shooters just yesterday. I'm still going to leave my two cents...I had a reason for voting the way I did, I might as well give the photographer the benefit of my reasoning.

Thanks. FYI - the next regional Society of Photographic Education conference is going to be held in Flint (sometime this summer, I think)

At least your votes per view is pretty close to 1:1
I get 1 voter per 4 viewers. |

| Not voting in this one, too many entries, dial up, but I've been cruising and am very impressed with how pleasing and various the entries are. There must be something to this rule of thirds. (Count me as one of your favourable viewers). |

I hate only having one comment... I don't think i've ever had this few this late in the game.
Is my picture really so boring, that no one has anything to say?
Ugh.
This challenge so far, has by far been the easiest on my update button. I've barely moved at all, and have just kind of forgotten about it.
