One Thing I HATE About Free Study Challenges.

One thing that really fraustrates me is the waiting for the challenge to begin. I know last month my image was submitted on the 6th of the month so there was a LONG time waiting for the challenge to begin (in hindsight it was worth the wait :)

This month I got my initial entry in about 8 days ago, which is still like waiting forever for the voting to commence. However I do admit to resubmitting my entry last night as I have redone it from scratch as I wasnt truely happy with the first one.. but still... I hate waiting!!

(then to top it, there is nothing worse than waiting all that time, then the image scoring in the 5`s..)

No chance of winning.. But I am happy with the entry.

And of course you would want to steal my 5D and revel in the full glory of full-frame, Nikon Boy..

Although this months freestudy was shot on my 300D & Kit lens!

I hardly doing good in free study and my highest score 5.5 *LMAO*
wondering when can i get over it.

350D is not heavy..how I wish 5D is not heavy too..lolol

I had my free study in here since the beginning of the month then I changed it yesterday. Then I changed it back...now I changed it again....I need to step away from the PC until Tuesday morning.

haha, I know how you feel. when putting freestudy in early I continuously go back and look at it, make sure its eye-catching enough, make sure the thumbnail looks good as well, then by the time the voting comes around I am sick of it and think "Euuurrgh, how the hell could I enter that shot".

I have been doing the same thing..usually I ended up submitted
the photo which I not really fun of..and then bang!!! mid 5.

Please do not be diluded by the rantings of a madman that shoots with a Canon.. IF I steal his 5D it goes on ebay straight away or I'll give it to MrPants as a back up.

I am super nervous/ excited while waiting cause it is my first submission for nearly four years!
Used to be an avid submiter and now waiting seems like forever!

I took my first FS image at the beginning of the month and had it up for weeks. Then last week I come across an image that should blow the previous one away. So for the past 9 days or so I have been looking at this one image with extremely high hopes. I have probably not looked at an entry of mine so many times waiting for it to go up. And now the doubts are setting in. Is it good - is it crap. Do I have the equivalent of beer goggles on now. Could I be so deluded in thinking that it could do well. Lets just get it started already!

Ah, just an hour or two left before bedtime for me then I'll wake up in the morning (a Public Holiday too!!!) and keep a close watch on the screen... a personal image so bound to be in the mid 5's, but I was so excited to be doing an expert editing one again...been brewing this idea for a while.

I have the opposite problem. I fret all month about never having time to go shoot anything and just about always end up with an entry at the very end. My December free study was taken on the 30th or 31st - don't remember which. This month's was taken on the 28th. I never have one early!
