Does anybody know of this White Balance correcting filter??

I'm glad I read that you stand where the subject will be and take the reference photo back towards where the camera will be. Makes sense, but I had been thinking the opposite.

So for something like a wedding, I can take a series of reference shots with the ExpoDisc before-hand (so that I don't have to pause or "get in the way" to do that during the activities) and then just set the custom white balance to the appropriate reference when needed, right?
