Well......I'm back and looked at the shot I'd processed on my kid's computer with Adobe 7.0. I llearned that her screen is a different color and that I'm spoiled by my CS2 even if I wasn't shooting RAW because of space. I *am* going to get another card or two for the future, though as I just don't like the limitations on editing jpegs.
I guess I'm just not good enough to not use PS to edit the snot out of the shots......LOL!!!
Anyhow....here's that surf shot of the four girls done better.....

Well...
This is a little embarrassing, but I truly feel that as this is one of the nicest bunch of caring and decent people I know, you'll be able to relate......especially the parents. This silliness of me being a cheerleader really went to the mat on Saturday. I had a hard time seeing, with what this whole thing meant to me, the others on the team, the coach, and our kids.
Just read the description below the shot......the pic ain't the greatest 'cause we weren't allowed to use flash and my wife didn't have the greatest vantage point, but this is a little bit of posterity and something I'll remember for the rest of my life.

hey lars! jsut drop a line to  Posthumous and he'll see if you can be quezzed onto a team. but you don't have to be on a sub-team to be a member of team suck. the suck league is, well, distinctly non-competetive, and much more in it for the fun. in fact, the person with the highest average each week is sumarily 'punished' by having to comment on all the team's entries for that week. this would be the momentary laps of sucking award.
i think you'll notice that very few of the images from this team actually suck - it's just our scores that suck. and, looking at your 'folio, you seem to have the right, out of the box thinking that seems to exemplify the team suck attitude.
i now return you to your regualr broadcast. this has been an unpaid party apolitical announcement....

I appreciate your guidance. I will seek out this posthumous and plead my case to him. I too want to be severely punished for doing well(Which will be out of the ordinary for my usual +/-5.0) but want to try and enjoy this competition again rather than trying to dive into the psychological menatlity of peoples perspectives on what makes my photo not worthy of a decent score(Meaning freakin' 6 worthy) when all the comments are positive ones. It's a conspiracy I think. Though I guess 15 people commenting out of 220 people voting doesn't mean it is liked by even 10%. So I guess I get it now.

yo...
it's been a minute i know.
i'm still deep into my site and i've been having the time of my life doing it.
i'm currently changing web hosts so i can get more up. theres going to be a huge update on it this week. it will have the last four shows we went to.
theres one pic that's definately going to end up in the free study for this month.
i know i'm not banging team entropy anymore but i still appreciate what you guys did for me.

LaMas, with the 6.5 you've got in night shot, you might join and get the momentary lapse of suck award in the same week. :)

Like Jeb said it's that TS umbrella, my first score after joining was my PB with my first 6+ as well, very cool.

I don't mean to anwser for klstover but my average is over 5 now and I am pretty sure WriteHeart's is as well, not sure about Muppet...in the AU5 thread she mentions it's open to anyone, if your average is over 5 you become a supporter instead of a member. I would think it's okay...

Okay - TS - I need some good luck vibes.
This afternoon is my third try at a photo shoot. Try #1, I had equipment problems. Try #2a had to reschedule because the kid was sick. Try #2b she had to go home before she even got in my door. Today she comes back.
I've got a clear 2GB card, fully charged camera battery, extra flash batteries, even got a light meter ! Backgrounds are ready to go.
