I am so over this snow! Where the heck are the April Showers? I hope the Easter Bunny has a sled and some Rein Deer! This is the view from my house this morning!

NO KIDDING!!

I just got in from letting my 5 yo snowboard in the back yard. ???????

Maybe this is the last of the winter weather, for a while. Like several months, hopefully.

We're lucky we don't have the snow but it's a windy 19 degrees outside here in southern Iowa! Just a few weeks ago we hit 89 degrees and almost took the boat out! Had some beautiful blooming flowers just last week now they're all frozen to the ground!

It's been snowing here in parts of Ontario since yesterday. They say we may get anywhere between 15-30 cm's or 8-15". I'm glad I did'nt put the snowblower away last week when we were walking around in t-shirts.

It was 80F here yesterday, and supposed to be around the same today.

I've been whining about the weather, but I guess we're lucky that we haven't had accumulating snow to speak of these last few days. It was 80 on Tuesday, and freezing the rest of the week. AAAH!

I think we should do some serious research about this global cooling thing.

I prefer the term "global equalizing" or something similar.

It's like it's making all the usually really warm areas cooler, and all the usually cool areas warmer.

Global *warming*, has always been a misleading name, albeit technically accurate (when measuring the global mean temperature).. but it's hard to convince people there's a problem if you use a term that doesn't fit with their having snow in April.

Yeah, aren't we lucky to live in balmy Canada? :D
(though it's drizzly today, which makes me pout, cuz it was supposed to continue nice for my birfday.... SNOT FAIR)

But I promise not to post any shots from yesterday of the beach and wildflowers!!

I was in Kamloops once, just about 30 years ago at Easter-time; as I recall it was about a "balmy" 45°F and there was still about 4-6 inches of snow on the ground. The guy we were meeting said he'd come down from Edmonton the week before, where it was -50°F with five-foot drifts ...

Ugh... your snow sounds tempting! It's almost 90 degrees in my house and it's warmer outside (I suppose I could look up the temperature). I was/am going out to take photos, but I can only stand so much cactus and dead foliage.....

This how we spent our Easter Sunday here in North Yorkshire. This sort of weather is quite exceptional for this time of year; Easter picnics usually involve fleeces and water-proofs!

These were all take with my new 100-400L - any criticism gratefully received!
