that was a shame... to lose when we had our highest score as a team.
it was very very good opposition though!
lets keep in touch with this thread until season 5 starts.
i'm gonna put my camera in for a sensor clean in the break, doing it now as not to miss any wpl challenge weeks!
amy, just to confirm - i wanna stay on the team.
thank you for your patience while i was on my learning curve.
i think i've more or less got the hang of it now. (last 3 challenges inc one in now average over 6 - woooo hoooo)

Hey Amy, thanks for the opportunity I hope you are happy with the results of the team. I think we were competitive till the end.
As a personal victory: I improved my average from 5.29 when this started to 5.50 as it is now. And my still shot is above 6 again :)

I know, I was following the threads but not submitting to the challenges. And specially 2005 was really busy :S I entered the WPL to force myself to submit.

Sounds good Dustin! I think for the WPL cards we might have some kind of a theme going hows that sound guys, Im going to put up a post today to recruit a few members, Im going to the Beach tommorrow until Monday so Dustin since I know your always on I'll leave you in charge we just need a few more members to vote on.. I'll talk to you on msn about it

I just wanted to chime in and thank everyone and captain  xXxscarletxXx for voting me on to this fine team.
I know I'm the rookie of the team but I agree with spicing up the name. If anyone needs help with logo or anything including a flash animation of our team, just let me know.

ummm yeah.. hows the pics going everyone? I wish SC would pull the fingers out and tells us when it'll begin so I can organize everything instead of just floating around like laa dee daa, Ive got to renew my membership begore May 20th so I can remain captain and yeah, I dunno Im extremely annoyed at this place atm.
I won't be leaving though because Im not letting you guys down ^_^

I have been working closely with langdon, SC, and Clint to get the league up and running. Look for May 1st. I can't say anymore because langdon and DPChallenge runs the WPL now. It has also been renamed "DPL" for DPChallenge Leagues to integrate the WPL into DPChallenge. Believe me it will be GREAT!!! and as a captain xXxscarletxXx you are going to love the new features.

Amy, it sounds like you think that DPC is deliberately trying to torture you by not making additional details on team formation public.
We are all working very hard on the integration of the WPL into DPC so that it is a fun and enjoyable place for everyone. As you noted, in order to remain a team captain you'll have to renew your membership anyway. Why not try to enjoy the site in the meantime?

Well, if it's not the DPL that you are angry about, why was that the subject of your venomous comment in this post?
I think you've misplaced some aggression here. If you are angry about the DQ's, the fault for that belongs squarely with you. No one from the SC helped you choose your subject or post-process the photo -- that was all you. With regard to this last one, you did in fact knowingly and willfully break the rules even after quoting a post in a forum thread repeating the rule and saying that you wouldn't break it. Yet, that's exactly what happened.
Instead of complaining about how unfair it is that you can't break the rules and get away with it, and going further and casting aspersions on other ribbon winners and suggesting that they cheated to win...why not simply take the time to carefully read the rules? By following them, you can avoid further DQ's and any additional penalities that might apply from having so many of them.

also i see you have got yourself a canon 20D as well!... is it going to replace your nikon, and how do you think they compare???
