I did a shot with dolls once, and the guy wrote, "....the shot is OBVIOUSLY set up..." I just giggled. He was being funny, but did proceed to give some good advice.

i got a kick out of this one from my color portrait II. i guess i look like adam sandler - not the first say so. the fact it's a nice shot with nothing wrong with, but people still won't like it made me chuckle. oh well///
You got Adam Sandler to model for you?
Nice shot, nothing wrong with it. I don't think people will like it though. Good luck.
___
on the cheese challenge i got this one too - and had to laugh...
i don't know whether to laugh or cry. this is gross. i admire your effort, but am not quite sure how to reward you. yes, you are dedicated, and i'm sure you realized your vision. however, part of me simply gags at seeing this. kinda like having to change a diaper because noone else is around and you can't stand the smell anymore.

I remember that challenge, I'm sure someone was just cut& pasting that comment.
The silliest comment I've recieved is in a current challenge, so I'll reserve the post.

How about this one:
This will cater to a select group of people. Homely women. Remember what your audience might see.
The shot was just a pic of various colors of threads. |

On my first entry ever:
crap 2
It was very fitting and I still marked it as helpful (after considering what they were trying to say of course). It still makes me LOLOL
For the commenter: Thanks for taking the time! :) It really woke me up and let me know I needed to learn :) |

That aside this is also quite blurry. I would recommend using a tripod and/or turning up the ISO and using a faster shutterspeed.
This certainly meets the challenge.
ETA: Strangely they didn't find my comments helpful! :) |

Apparently one of just a few as a 5.9 score made the top ten. |

My first challenge was "Abandoned Buildings" and I submitted a shot of an old falling-apart barn which was titled "Where have all the pretty horses gone?"
To which one responded, "To the dog food factory ..."
And it's still the funniest comment I've ever received!

Um... your models tend to be former trees and make that sound when they trip and... oh, nevermind. Citadel said it was his worst joke ever. Just nod in agreement and try not to make any sudden moves around him. ;-)

I loved this comment. I hadn't thought of the egg problem until I read the comment.
It's the Frying Pan People! And they appear to be cannibals if those are eggs on the plate ... or they eat their own eyeballs. Yuck.
EDIT...must...learn....type

I'm naming names, some incredibly obnoxious guy by the name of posthumous.
Silly yes, the man makes me laugh...I could hang some of his comments on my wall! |

Dustin,
I got the "no wow" comment also...I went out and bought three cans of wow to compliment my next technically good photo. There may have been more folks who also got that comment because the lady in front of me on line had three cans of wow also. |

Someone got a deal on the comment because its being dispersed like cheap alcohol on ladies night. (Me and my weird analogies...)
If you are finding that you need to use copy and paste, macros, or any other mechanism to "auto complete" your comments...you probably aren't being helpful. |

Would it ease your pain if I said that your post is silly?
If so, I can say it if you like.

You guys should adopt ordinance #45095L which prohibits all forms of artificial-conspicuous animal shelters, but then again if we all did what we're supposed to I would have left a helpful comment.
