OH YES! |
That seems like a great idea actually - just the utility about not buying a seperate ride on mower - but I also thought adding engines into shopping trollies and racing them was also a great idea....
OK, Hangs head - I would own up to a bit of a rev head and I guess that has some red-neck rolled into it :-)

If you mow your lawn and find 3 cars.... you might be a redneck
If you go to a family reunion to get a date... you might be a redneck
If your beltbuckle is larger than your boot... you might be a redneck
If the best couch you own is on the front porch... you might be a redneck

You might be a Yankee if you...
Think Hillary Clinton is sexy.
Won't stop to help a neighbor who's being mugged.
Pay $300 a bottle for a bunch of old, squished grapes or a tin of fish eggs.
Have a poster of Rudy Giuliani on your wall.
Don't know how to spell Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Eastaboga or Tallapoosa.
Can't figure out how to jump start your car.
Don't realize your BMW was built in South Carolina or your Mercedes was built in Alabama.
Talk like Fran Drescher.
Have 8 cousins named Vinnie.
Moved to Texas and don't like it because you aren't smart enough to figure out the new language.

Since I haven't been to Boston, so I asked a friend who lived there what she thought of the city:
Their most used nonverbal form of communication is the middle finger. The pecking hierarchy for driving mandates that he with the most beat up car has hand ( in other words get your new VW Jetta out of the way of the beat up Toyota). Traffic sucks. Manners suck. They get almost as little sun as Seattle. Worst of all, the idiots totally panicked over cartoon character signs thinking they were "explosive devices."
Yeah, I'd rather be a redneck any day :) |

Hmm, I would probably describe NYC this way. In Boston, it's not the most beat up car that wins, it's the biggest vehicle. :) Well that, and the driver that has the most nerve. In RI we joke that if somebody cuts you off without warning or refuses to let you change lines to get ahead of them, 9 times out 10 the plate is from Massachusetts. We fondly refer to those bad drivers as "Massholes."

Although that was amusing in hindsight, please cut a little bit of slack here. After all, 9/11 terrorist flights did originate from their airport so they are a bit sensitive now about that sort of thing.

Okay. But you have to admit, the scare DID make them look rather silly ;) |
