I TOTALLY agree, I was adding to the fact about if the challenge was time or having something to do with the Steve Miller Band....I did not say that I voted very high on pics that don't have a clock or watch....

i just thought the challenge should represent a change in time not something that can be used to tell time.

Why? The Challenge is "Time" not "Changing Time" which would be quite different, imo.

Absolutely! But not specifically Changing Time. It was left more broad - Time - in all of its essences. :)

There are so many different ways to interpret the word time. Whether it be a time piece or not. Why not just vote on the quality of the picture, not what you think the challenge meant?

There are just way too many things to consider when thinking of time. So I̢۪m voting with a very open mind.

And I'm not telling my score. In the last challenge my score took darn near a 1 point drop after I posted it. So now I̢۪m superstitious about it.

this is interesting, I have been thinking a lot about it, of course not becasue of the challenge. how can I show time, duration, in my photos? how can you show something "stretched" in time in one photograph? do you agree with the common opinion that a photo only captures a moment and is static?

There is no human activity or thought which cannot somehow be related to time, so I'm voting the ones I like high, & the ones I don't low. There is no such thing as a shoehorn shot in this challenge. You have to use time to take a shot (shutter speed), the shot itself begins to age right after you capture it, & the same shot can never be captured again because of time. It'd be much more difficult to capture a subject that can not be related to the concept of time in any way. (edit to add an afterthought)

I dunno... some of the best photos are widely considered to be timeless. ;-)

Good art always survives thru time, but it's the very notion of time that makes it timeless in the first place. :D

Okay okay, I've been thinking about it and I've decided that Time heals all wounds - so all shots without bandages or doctors DNMC. :)

It is obviouse from the opening vote that these voter did not LOOK at the image, and simply trashed it. and to rise as it has means some good scores were posted, but this is a big hole to climb from.

As it has risen 1.883 since opening Wow should it have opened at 5.5 it would now be 7.383, really makes you wonder about the negetive voting by some members.

The challenge details. Time keeps on slippin, slippin', slippin... into the future.

well, the changing time is how i wanted to represent it. Didnt mean that it should be the only way.
