Wonder if any like these will be submitted for the speed challenge.

Which is faster? Shutter speed or plane?

BTW, i just made my first submittion into the speed challenge, (YAY me!). So please be critical cuz i know mine isn't anywhere close to the above links.

Those pics are great. Especially the Sonic Boom. as for the Speed challenge, at least you submitted a pic. I still have no idea what to shoot so I may sit this one out. Look forward to seeing your work.

yeah, those are great pics! I love the one with the apache on the water especially. I think I'm sitting out the speed challenge too, which is really dissapointing because it's a great topic. Unfortunately, our car is lacking insurance right now so I can't drive anywhere and there isn't much speedy going on within walking distance and I refuse to go out and take a picture of cars driving by. There are going to be too many of those. Maybe I'll think of some creative take on speed that won't score well by the end of the day though...

Yeah I was going to try and shoot cars going by but figured others already had that down, prob'ly better than what i would get too. My pic is very speedy but virtually objectless. It was hard for me to come up with something that wasn't just motion, but it's always when i'm not trying that the pic seems to work out right.

Oh and i'm glad you liked the pix... but i don't see how you couldn't. The Apache one makes a great desktop wallpaper. :)

The B-2 photo that is posted, would actually be illegal here. I have seen the mock up for it before, and is a "fake." Seen it with a bunch of others, like the Great White jumping out of the water and has a GI in his mouth that is hanging from a helicopter. Neat photos, and great work, but not legal here. (C:

I was wondering if it was fake but could see the possibility of it happening so I wasn't sure. I've seen the great white photo you speak of and yes that one is an obvious fake as cool as it is.

Is this a fake too?

Sittin' out unless I get lucky tomorrow:( Ttryin' to slow things down here.) Expect to see a lot of race tracks one way or the other. No flower pics though.. my last submition was a flower.

Easier voting only 10 - 29 I guess?

Wow, that's an amazing pic. I would think that it's real. The one with the rear-mirror is obviously fake, but the battle ship explosion looks real and is pretty impressive.
