If as a photographer you were given two free tickets for air travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid (travel, lodging, per diem), where would you go? Why would you go there? What would attract you? And, who would you invite?

Oh, man.

Somewhere crazy. Somewhere so completely remote that no one in their right mind ever goes there. Antarctica. Kamchatka. Patagonia. Even northern BC/Alaska is good enough. I want people to look at my photos and say "wow... I wish I could do that. I want to go places and see things that would make National Geographic look like a luxury travel brochure.

I'm a crazy mountain man...and I wouldn't have it any other way...

Anywhere surf is up, sun is shining and the pro's are out in force ;)
Nothing relaxes me like a day of shooting some good surf with my toes dug deep in the layers of sand.. you know just to the point where it feels cool again.. yeah.. smiles thats where i'd go :D

Today is a new day: Today I'd like to go/ be anywhere i've never been.. some new country, on some new road, something less travelled, where locals arent interested in tourists, where I get to experience life as it is right here right now... with my camera on hand of course and a note book to capture the smells, interesting conversations and other things the lens wouldnt.

another new day..: Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, Africa, Fiji, India, Cambodia.
I was in Honduras on Saturday for an hour.. I'd like to go back there and explore as well... :) It looked amazing... Japan appeals too :)

So much to see .. so not independantly wealthy ;) lol

For me, it would have to be Tanzania to see the great migration. I'd take Mark Tennant with as he is a fantastic wildlife photographer.

I love Asia.
I'd love to see Burma.
I'd love to go back to Nepal.
Tibet is also a place that fascinates me.

Either
to the Antarctic with Fritz Pölking (fantastic German nature photographer) //www.poelking.com/
or
to Sydney to take pictures of the Opera House (with Firsty as my guide ;-)

Obviously, I'd take my wonderful husband with me on both trips!

I guess I'd like to go to Italy. Venice, Rome, etc. Then maybe go north into the Alps and maybe into Switzerland. Then maybe over to to France to see the Eiffel Tower. Then maybe down into Spain/Portugal.

Scotland - everywhere! Including a long, intensive tour of Islay (with stops at Laphroaig's, Bowmore's, Lagavulin, etc. etc.), Skye, and all the outer islands.
