What kind of a former South African are you????? It is the sport of the gods. Rugby. And you should be ashamed that you are not supporting the Lions!!

Stormers finally picked up a win. I guess I have to back the Lions over the Reds. Me, I'm gearing up for the cricket WC instead as there is no way I can get any S14 rugby coverage out in Singapore. |

LOL - its been a while (1984) and if I remember the Lions were England's team (right?). Never was much of a rugby fan - the only Springbok team I followed (and wish they televised games here in the US) was the cricket team.
EDIT TO ADD: My family did send me a tie celebrating the Springbok Rugby championship win back in 1996. It's an awesome tie - with the flags of all the teams who played (including England, New Zealand, etc.) - even if I don't wear ties.

So let me help you out here then. The Lions were the old Transvaal rugby team.
The Cricket team is now called the Proteas.

Jan: I think we should set up a South African WPL team, like all those islander teams; only we need Goodman to sign-up for the idea. |

Ah, wish I could join you guys. Having a braai tonight though, minus the melktert (unfortunately).
Reds are killing the Lions by the way. Sucks 17 - 6 now.

Speaking if which, are there any websites that telecast these games live? |

Not that I know of. You can get live scoring on sarugby.com.
Not sure if any Aussie site has it live.

I use PlanetRugby.
And Cricinfo for the cricket.
In the last decade I've followed more sport on the web than I have watched. Too many dodgy countries where they don't screen my stuff. |
