In Dallas somewhere (the wife and I were lost) there is an intersection of Fourney and Cater streets. I didn't have my camera (handy) and nowhere to pull over!

Hey Mary, I saw that on my way back, pretty funny indeed. As a matter of fact, a bit further down 211 was a similar sign. |

Last month I drove by a local McDonald's that was sporting some hilarious info on their sign:
"Employee of the month
Latoya Jackson"
I'm still kicking myself for not making it back there with my camera before they changed it. |

Yeah, I knew that one was there, too, but this one was more photogenic ;-) Not too bad for a pic taken from a moving car, huh? |

Found a few more, but are all low-res versions from the trusty Sony Mavica 1.2MP
I wish I had thought ahead years ago to get a shot of the sign on Northbound I5 just before downtown San Diego that read:
"Cruise ships this exit"
<me wonders what cruise ships were doing on the freeway> |

I posted this up on the 30 Day Where I Live project and someone suggested I post it here.

For sure. I would have guessed you stopped. As a matter of fact my curiosity has peaked and now I must go in there next time by. ;-) |

So this is how they spell "Diamond" in Alaska?
I don't speak French, but that didn't matter for this one...
The chase is on:
And this in Vegas... a drive through chapel on one corner, followed by a place to get your divorce kits at the very next one!

It must be someone's name ... there's a Dimond district in Oakland, California as well. |

These are all so funny.
Here's one that I love. He's been around for over 25 years and has always used this slogan.

I wish I had my camera with me the other day. I was on my way to Tucson on Interstate 10 and passed an overturned 18 wheeler. The driver seemed fine, but what caught my eye was a big yellow sign on the bac of his truck (upside down and swinging by one rivet) that read: How's My Driving? Call 1.800.???.???? |

"Cleanest and Fastest" ... those are two adjectives I just don't associate with pigs. Perhaps I am just hanging out with the wrong sort of pigs? Well, now that I think about it, LuLu was clean, but I don't know that she was fast ;-) |
