Clouds are hit or miss there. The coastal breeze tends to drive them inland - to my house! lol

Here's the scoop on Days Inn.
I have 8 rooms blocked at $74 per night. I can probably get more rooms if need be.
To make your reservations call 904-824-3383 and tell them you are with the "DP Challenge" group. These rooms need to be booked before March 6 or the remainder will be released.

Sorry. They did say it would take a day or two to make it to their system. It's been one of those days for me. I do have a signed contract though. :)

| I am over near St Petersburg and might be able to make it...depending on if I have a car or not!! I am going to "watch" this thread so I can follow up as we get closer. I have been dying to make it to a GTG! |

My hubby tried to request off for that weekend but it was already too late. I guess since it is Easter weekend we should have asked a while ago. I don't know if I am up for driving over by myself with two kids. Its about a 3 hours drive. Then I would have to take them along with me and I don't think that will be much fun. I was really looking foward to this.
I will still work on this. I might be able to get Grandma to watch the kids for the day. Its a lot of driving in one day but it would be worth it. :)

Thanks Wayne for making the arrangements at the Days Inn for this GTG. I just reserved one of the rooms for the 6th and 7th of April.
Suggestion for Cindi: I think that it would be helpful for those who are just now finding out about this GTG to see the location, attendees, dates, and hotel information in the initial post of this thread. Maybe you could edit your initial post to include this updated information as it has been done in the Red Rock GTG thread so that it is easy for everybody to find.
edit because I couldn't spell idnic backwards correctly the first time.

I just booked my room.
There are now only 6 rooms left and 10 days left before they get released.
This is Easter Weekend and is sure to be a popular place to go. So book your now so we can have a great turnout.

I went ahead and put Skip on the list as "Hopeful".
Skip, I do hope you can shift your schedule by a couple of days to make the GTG. Will the kids be with you (I'm assuming so)?
Gonna be a fun one!! I've spread the word to a couple of my local photog buddies and looks like 2 of them will be joining us as well. :D |

if it were only up to me :/
the decision really hinges on not celebrating Easter at our little country church...
i've marked the OP, and will let ya'll know. i really would love to make it.
however, if i don't, i will be in st aug from mon-sat, with kids ;-) |
