I didnt get to enter this photo but im curious my wife disagreed that this shot could be considered a "country life" shot.
It was taken 20 mins from where i live and it is rural land so what is everyones opinion did this meet the challenge
Thanks to those who showed me how to post a pic....appreciate it.

Looks a little urban with the ships and tankers docked there. If you entered it you'd probably lose points for that. A little cropping could solve that problem. Otherwise it looks fairly rural.

I tend to agree. I would probably consider this a shot of a seaside town or small seaport and not think of country at all.

It was shot from a rural area, but the shot itself is *of* an urban area, or at least a town/grouping of people and houses and boats.

I agree with the above.... It doesn't give me a feel of country life or of a rural setting or theme...

I come from Tauranga originally, but lived in Dunedin for a cuppla years before I came to Germany. I was up in the Banks Peninsula area a lot. I used to run the Takahe to Akaroa road relay so I know the area a bit! Beautiful area.
Where you live there?

Hi Kiwiness and Hoogie! I was just in NZ at Xmas time and visited both CChurch and Tauranga.
Got some amazing photos and thoroughly enjoyed the trip! And yes, despite all our (Aussie) jokes about Kiwi's, you do have a beautiful country!
