LOL- I thought Good and Bad was an indication of the top scores, and I couldn't figure out why a 6.77 was Bad. :-/ |

In another version, if needed, I can have the software go directly to the members' Profile and extract the Challenge Average using the person's ID #. That's the number that you see when you mouseover a user's name-link.
I have already started to do that for the FSM (Free Study Marathon), just for fun.
All results will be marked as "Pending" and "Finalized".
Each team can verify the results of their opponent, just to double check things and to meet their approval.

I dont know guys, I think the way things have gone down, we should just suspend WPL play until things get straightened out. Realistically we dont even know who won/lost in week one. Week 2 is already in voting, and week 3 is in the shooting stages, and yet we dont even know if it still exists. I say we all step back and regroup rather then this end up going 10 different directions with no clear leader or group of leaders. This is just my opinion based on the facts at hand.

It's really quite simple. It took me less than 10 minutes to gather and post the scores for my team.
John ( justamistere) has already volunteered to pull the team scores from this thread, which as he's stated, isn't really that difficult to do with some basic coding.
The biggest obstacle I see facing John is the formatting of data entry here in this thread. If everyone post's following his format it should be a fairly smooth process.
Side note: I think John may want all team members to be listed, even if they didn't enter that week (put 0.0000 next to their membername), to help with generating running averages for all players.

MattO, I don't think it will be too hard if all the team captains step up and do their part. I truly believe it's possible to get through this season. Especially with justamistere stepping up to the plate to get a webpage created.
I think what's important and would be very helpful to him is if all the team captains read his post that I quoted below as to the correct format he needs things posted here to make it easier for him to get the webpage up and running.
If you've already posted your scores here, do you think you can update your posts to follow this format guys?? :) I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

Rest assured, we are still going in the same single direction. I'm just continuing the WPL data collection in the interim. If and when Southern Gentleman or DPC creates an official website, I can feed all the information I collect into their system, even into an Excel spreadsheet if required. |
