Some shots for an interview with our newspaper today. Just thought i'd share, if there are any fans about :)

How cool that you got to do this. I'm 49 and I love their music. I turned all my daughters (all three in their 20's) onto Badly Drawn Boy. Now they all like them too. I just thought that was a little backwards. You did a fantastic job!

Never heard of them, but I like the shots. Can you post ap/iso/shut/lense specs for the soundcheck shots? I'm going to be shooting a buddy's band soon.

Updated with exposure and equipment info. The soundcheck ones weren't really serious gig shots, just quick shots in case the paper wanted something different in addition to the interview ones. They're handheld at very slow shutter speeds, wide open aperture and ISO3200 with the 100-400L IS's image stabiliser taking care of the handshake.

Very cool! They're a great band..loved their soundtrack for About A Boy (and the song).
