This challenge reminds me of Sesame Street (a kid's show in the USA) that once did a spoof of the song "Let It Be" from the Beatles.
LETTER B
(Sesame Street)
(sung to the tune of "Let It Be")
when i find i can't remember
what comes after a
and before c
my mother always whispers words of wisdom
letter b
she told me b starts
big and bird and
ball and bat and battery
yes buh buh buh buh buh means
letter b
letter b, letter b, letter b, letter b
she whispers buh buh buh means letter b
and when i feel downhearted,
mother whispers
b words constantly
like bib, bob, bulb, and bubble
letter b
now in my hour of darkness
there's a sound i know will comfort me,
it's the buh buh buh buh buh of letter b

That said, I think this is going to be one of my favorite challenges yet, both to shoot and to vote. It's wiiiiidddeee open, and there will be tons of diverse images here. |

Hey StevePax, thanks for posting this. Now i will be humming Letter B all day long :) Btw, i find Sesame Street one of the best, most creative programs for ADULTS :)
Only saw the Letter B challenge this morning and yeah it's wide open and fund to shoot and fun to vote on.

Along the same subject...
Does our picture have to be an uppercase B or a lowercase b? I'd hate to submit the wrong picture for the challenge ;-)

I don't see why not, personally I'll be checking every language I can think of.

So if there is a photo with a beautiful blonde in a blue bikini on the beach while in the background is a boat against the blue sky – I will give that a 10/10 â€Â¦ LOL

So, agwright's beautiful blonde in blue bikini on beach with boat blue sky background could still be viewed as totally NOT meeting the challenge :) |

UNLESS: she's photographed lying down on her back, with the picture taken from ground level, looking "down" on her head, and she's a beautiful buxom blonde, then her profile would also provide the requsite upper case B (though on it's side).

I think it means that we can't just upload an image representing, evoking or conjuring the second letter of the alphabet. We're required to mail it instead!
