anybody got any yet? I'm at 50 votes, and not one comment. unusual as I usually get some. I took a bit of a chance on this one, so I expected a lot of "I love this" or "You suck", but am seeing neither.
I suppose I would prefer the "I love this" type comments, so all are welcome to add these to the submission they think is mine.

| I got one comment that the person was sure I'd be a winner and gave me a 10, and another comment that said I didn't meet the challenge and was giving me a 3... lol... |

I'm at 53 votes with no comments. I was really excited about my photo this week and think it's one of my best, but it's only middle of the road so far. Oh well.

oh yeah, and for the record, I like morning voters better than late night voters. i was at 4.1 last night, which has come all the way up to 4.7. which still sucks, but at least it sucks LESS. |

Same with me - 50 votes, no comments - maybe everyone's having a bad and busy week (or simply feel speechless at the wonder of what they're not seeing) lol

| I've got only one comment as well...after 54 votes. I figured my perspective in what I liked as a photo must be completely skewed. Or...this entry must be entirely dull! Maybe I need to return to controversial images...hmmmmm. |

Hmmm, i was one of those late night voters and i admit my votes weren't high. But i got so bored voting on this challenge that after 20 votes or so i called it quits for the night. Anyway, i voted long enough for those crappy votes to qualify for the 20% rule. In fairness, i'll try to vote on the rest, too. Remember though, any time i spent voting is time taken away from doing my self portraits (damned if you do, damned if you don't).
Dasser: i think there are just too many challenges going, too much to vote on and too much to take pictures for. |

I'm going to try to make my way through commenting on every picture in the Black on Black challenge this week. For some reason I really liked the idea of this challenge, had fun taking my photo, and would like to really look at each image in the challenge and give a good thorough comment. I've made it through about 10 of them and will progress throughout the week.

fair point - I've slogged myself to get these in this week and was fairly pleased with the results: just a shame others aren't as enthusiastic given my 3 entries aren't even breaking a 6! :0( |

Funny :) I started a thread that i mistakenly called my unsubmitted B&B. Had hoped to get some feedback but people probably think it's about a Bed & Breakfast and the thread is being ignored (or maybe my unsubmitted pic is soooo bad and off-topic that people are leery to break the news to me). |

When will people realise that most of the voters on day one just want to get through all the images in under an hour and very rarely leave comments?

| I just jumped above 4 for I'm really excited! I have 2 comments, both are helpful in their own way, but I expected a lot more since I submitted something very different from the rest. I'm guessing that I'm not meeting the challenge. |

Finally got a comment and the guy really liked it, said it was his highest vote of the challenge. BTW I have to say he's one of my favorite photographers here and respect his commentary; he's also got a pretty good average. Just wanted to say that meant more to me than if I had a much higher avg. score and zero comments. Cheers.

| I think this is a tough challenge.. not many (including me!) really have enough (or any!) experience to shoot it, let alone to vote on it, and therefore don't quite know what to say either. |

| I've left comments on over half of the photos for BoB. Sorry, I'm going out of town and will probably not comment on the rest. But a general comment I've made in the forums several times is that the quality of photography for this challenge is, I feel, much higher than normal. Y'all did great! |

| I suspect one problem is the fact there are three challenges this week, and many folks are focusing their comments on the self portraits. Which are of high quality, too, I might add. |
