My entry for the 'Fill the Frame' challenge was this
While the face itself was upside-down, the mouth and eyes remain the right way up (look at the monitor upside-down to see). I cannot claim any originality whatsoever for this, I saw this recently in a magazine and decided to shoehorn it in under 'Expert' rules. The first couple of commentors obviously got it and I feel that a few more did, too. Did anyone else spot the alterations made (or recognise the illusion), did my poor editing technique render this illusion null and void or did many just feel that this was a relatively poor shot just rotated through 180?
I'm not moaning about the score: this achieved a much better placing than I expected or even dared to hope for. I'm not navel-gazing over it either. When I realised that I could fit this in, I knew that this would be the follow-up that I would make.

All I know is that I'm in love with the B&W conversion in this one. |

That's not a conversion, I actually live in B&W. I date back to the industrial revolution, you know.

Wow, this was a great idea. I have to admit I didn't notice the eyes and mouth were positionally juxtaposed, but it's brilliant! I wish I had noticed, because I totally would have bumped my score.
I actually feel a bit foolish, because I did look at this shot for quite awhile before deciding on score, and still didn't Get It. Sorry!
On the plus side, you fooled me, you WIN! :)

That's funny to me. My youngest son asked me one time when the world got color. He got the idea that the world only had black and white from seeing old movies were not in color.
